Sarah Chandler holds an MFA in Theatre (Virginia Tech) and a BA in Sociology (Wesleyan College). During Ms. Chandler’s two year residency at Pig Iron (2006 – 2008), she stage managed four productions, including two international tours in Ukraine and Peru, while concurrently Production Managing their full season July 2007 – December 2008. Ms. Chandler has worked professionally all over the east coast, including The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival, Berkshire Theatre Festival, and North Carolina Stage Company. Currently, Ms. Chandler works as a freelance Production, Event, and Stage Manager for multiple companies, including Nichole Canuso Dance Company, Theatre Exile, OMNiBUS (Philadelphia), and Cherokee Historical Association (Cherokee, NC), and as a Teaching Artist at People’s Light and Theatre. Ms. Chandler has dreams of starting a sustainable artists’ colony in the Appalachian Mountains one day.
