Rick Henderson

Rick Henderson is delighted to be working with Nichole again. He is the founder and leader of The Wayward Wind, a loose collective of musicians and dancers most recently seen in Accumulation Process, a collectively-improvised work-in-progress first performed in January 2005, and heard on their second album Wait for Green, released in June 2005. In addition to numerous collaborations with Nichole Canuso, his sound design and original music has been heard in dance performances by Headlong Dance Theater, MOXIE Dance Collective and the Reactionaries, theatrical productions by Mark Lord/Big House and Elizabeth Stevens, and in films by Andrew Repasky McIlhenny. He also creates site-specific installations and performances as City of Horns (most recently DissolvingMachines in collaboration with Mouth of Flowers), records music as Harpoon, Positron, and DJ Flux, and runs the Schwa-Disk record label.
