Mark O'Maley
Mark O’Maley is a native of Cape Ann, Massachusetts who wears his heart on his sleeve and the sky on his arm. He has designed sets and lights for almost 20 years, finding dance most interesting because people talk too much as it is. He is currently on the faculty of Arcadia University and teaches lighting design for dance at West Chester University. Additionally he is a guest artist at Concord Academy in Massachusetts and Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He has designed projects throughout the U.S., Europe, & South America - though in the Philadelphia area he has designed too many projects with and for companies and artists to list here. His NYC credits include HERE, P.S. 122, Dance Theater Workshop, The Joyce, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Pearl Theater, and The Flea Theater. He received his BA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and is currently pursuing his MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Goddard College. He firmly remains a dyed-in-the-wool Boston Red Sox fan.
