Corey Duncan

Musician

Corey Duncan comes from a musical family. His grandfather was a long time conductor of the Seattle Youth Symphony and his relatives have played in various orchestras throughout the world. Duncan started playing guitar at age 14 and formed the Philadelphia band Pattern Is Movement in 2001. After 3 records with Pattern Is Movement, Duncan left the band to pursue a Music Composition degree and start his own orchestral pop outfit, Oh! Pears, in which he does all of the writing and arranging. He has released an EP with Oh! Pears and is currently working on a full length album. He has recently joined The Mural and the Mint, and plays guitar on their soon-to-be-released second album. Duncan will receive his Associates degree at Community College of Philadelphia in the spring and will be moving on to Temple University after that.
